Does the Sims 2 work on a PC laptop computer?

I just would like to know if the Sims 2 works on a PC laptop computer because I'm getting them for Christmas! Please let me know!

Yes it would as long as it has the right specifications. If it is a brand new laptop, then it will definitaly work. The only reason it wouldn't work would be if the laptop had a really bad graphics card and processor, but that shouldn't be a problem if it is new.
