I know a lot of people watched this movie, and it made lots of money. I think the idea behind it was pretty brillian, that students had this idea and ended up making so much cash, all with a video camera. One of the things that I have found funny is that even now if the movie is mentioned, there is always that one person who says "what? you mean that movie wasnt really based on a true story? Those kids didnt really go missing and die?" I'm just curious if anyone here really believed the hype, or if someone you know did? Also, how many people here got mad when they actually watched the movie and felt it didnt deserve all the credit it was given?

I've seen this movie. Its one of my best horror movie i ever watched. I really like this kinda movie making. There gotta be something new when a movie is released. So i believe that this movie really made a hype saying that the students were missing. It was like almost a real incident. But as far as i know the story said in this movie is really imagination. There is no such incident happened. They just created some sought of publicity to run the movie. But still the style of approach was good.
