For the last two years until the last few months I had been secretly traveling to strip clubs outside my state and dancing nude.I know the first thing on peoples mind is ,did you enjoy it.Then truth is I didnt. But at times I found it hard to find other work and I guess I got so use to the money I found that hard to give up too.Two weekends a month Id do my usual thing tell family Im off to work in the casino .But there never was a casino.I would get on atrain and travel for 3 hours to the strip club.I got so use to this cycle it was hard to break the routine. It wasnt until I told someone that taught me off guard looking very worried.I finaly had to admit it ,it was to my ex bf.Some how after telling someone I taught of more ways of getting out of it and tried harder to find a descent job that I felt more comfortable doing.I got my first office job in two years..It was one of the my happiest moments.

I know someone that worked as an exotic dancer for many years. It has haunted her ever since then. She really has become troubled over this. I hope that you can get beyond that time. Live for today. Huggers.

I'm glad your finally happy. It takes alot to change things we don't like about ourselves and a ton of courage. Kudo's to you. Great job! And you did nothing you should be ashamed of. it's what you had to do. So put it behind you and move on. =o)

For me you don't need to be ashamed in making a living that you've worked hard for. I believe that every work is worth to looked up to for as long as you dont step on other people's foot and as long as its not illegal.

I also worked secretly as a stripper out of state. My family never knew. I hated it and I only started doing it was because I wanted my boyfriend at the time to tell me not to do it. He never told me not to do it so I worked there for about 5 months. Good luck in your new job. Are you making a lot less money now? I know I am.

there is no wrong in having a stripper as a profession (for me) you are earning good money, honest money... but in this profession you should always ready on what others might say about you because "stripper" is really a common household name for "wh$%#&" so you cant blame them. Also "in a relationship" status will also be hard. Im proud of you, you able to pull it off. Goodluck and always take care.

I admire you. Really, because become a stripper is an easy ( i mean you can get in such job easily if you are goodlooking),but to quite it and start a normal life and then to confess it is a very big thing and you need a big heart for it. Its very tough to survive in this world and you have the ability to survive. You are bold.and you have the right attitude too. Godspeed to you and good luck for lots of happy years ahed.
