Not that I would ever want to get paid for PHP scripts (I am not very good at PHP....) but I recommend you just offer your services at all support forums. You would probably even get a job if you look at someone's profile on a forum, look at their site, add them to MSN Messenger and ask then if they would like you to code a Control Panel or something. I know this is so basic but so many people don't even think of the basics!
