I think he retired too early. While the argument of calling it quits at your peak is certainly valid, Shane had a good 2-3 years left in him. Its a great loss for world cricket but hats off to him, all the same. Well played, mate. You've done your country proud.

i think shane has enough of cricket left in him
but he was a better judge so he called it a day

Shane Warne retired at the right time. The only real problem is can anyone replace him?

it was probably the best time for him to leave. he could have maybe played on till this season finished

I think it was time for him to go, he has achieved eveything in the game he could achieve. I would have loved to see him get 800 though!!
