Ok, if you haven't seen either one of these, search online for some clips of these cartoons and then come back and respond!
It seems that "Family Guy" and "American Dad" are almost exactly alike. Does anyone know if they were created and contracted under two different companies or not? Which do you prefer? Also, seeing as how Family Guy came out before American Dad did, it seems like an exact rip from The Simspons. What do you think on this as well?

Well I think they are created by the same people,I guess they don't like coming up with new ideas. I don't watch Family Guy but it has its moments. I think it's funny that The Simpsons and South Park make fun of that show. Stewie says some pretty funny things though. I haven't seen any American Dad episodes (well maybe one)I think Family Guy does rip off the Simpsons sometimes,oh well.

Yeah it does rip from the simpsons but I think it makes it better LOL

Actually, you would be suprised over how many people like Family Guy that I know. I don't hear much about American Dad. I don't even hear about The Simpsons anymore.

its not a rip of the simpsons... its just an animated family, with a stupid dad, theres little to fit into it except that, family guy and american dad were created by the same people, they did american dad when family guy got cancelled, but now they're doing both i believe, with a family guy movie coming up shortly.
