People who donate their kidney for money?

Three Palestinian prisoners jailed in a prison in southern Israel said during the weekend that they plan ask the Israel Prison Service (IPS) to allow them to sell their kidneys in order to send money to their children for food. There are many people that sell donate their kidneys for money. I read in India many of women donate their kidneys in order to feed their childern. Rich people who need kidneys often get them from brokers in developing nations. The practice is illegal in India. Yet a research team, was able to find and interview more than 300 Indian citizens who sold a kidney. All were very poor. Most were women, and some were forced by male members of the family to sell their organs. In the United States acts like this is banned. Do you think people should have the right to donate their kidneys if they want? Is this just going to far when in desperate situations?
