How was your year 2006?

It may be a little early, but I think as the year draws to an end most people take a look back and reflect on the past year. For some it's probably been a good year, for others maybe a little rougher than they had hoped. My year had a little of both, in some ways it was a great year, in other ways it's been extremely tough. But the tough part taught me a lot. Learning to appreciate your life, with the good and the bad and just be thankful you're alive really changes your perspective on a lot of things. Life's too valuable for pettiness and too short to live angry and unhappy. There's no use sweating the small stuff, it will eventually work itself out. Things can be replaced people can't. Family and friends are worth putting the effort into; differences can be worked out in the end it will pay off.
