"In the year 2017 the earth will break into pieces"'

This the what I heard someone saying, that the NASA stated that in the year 2017 some big body from the space will collide with the earth and due to that the earth is going to break up into pieces and vanish into the space. I really not sure about this news but what is you take on this. "A sure end of the world" or what.

I have not heard this news,as this is a major catastrope so upto now lots of news would have come. I feel this news is not right.

I've heard about the world coming to an end so many times during my life. As far as I know, it didn't happen any of those times.
