It's incredible!! But true.
An Indian boy in his 12th standard has disproved Einstein's "Theory
of
Relativity".
Shocked? Read on...
Sudarshan Reddy has theoretically proven the existence of a sub-
atomic
particle, which can travel
at speed greater than that of light, thereby challenging one of the
fundamental postulates of
the "Theory of Relativity".
In his recent research paper submitted to the
Institute of Advanced Physics (IAP) at Trieste(Italy) , Sudarshan has
proved the existence of a class of sub-atomic
particles called "leptons",which can travel faster than light.
The international physics community is shocked by
this discovery.
Dr.Massimo Martelli, President of the IAP has this
to say about the paper submitted by Sudarshan."After long, careful
and
critical analysis, I can confidently say that Sudarshan's re search
papers
show tremendous leap inour understanding of physics. His
investigation
mounts up on "leptons". His work builds substantially on the workof
Einstein
and others in the field of relativity."
When physicists from Princeton University tried to
measure Sudarshan's IQ with an IQ-meter (at the American Embassy in
Delhi ), the meter broke down........
IS THIS TRUE???

where did you hear this from? is there a link to an article or something. i tried searching for info on it on the net, and couldnt find it.
anyway it would be an interesting read, not sure whether it would be true..

I heard about that but from what it sounds like it isn't true. I have always had a problem with the idea that light and time are related. What about in ablack hole? Is there no time there? I also read an article a few years ago where scientist actually slowed down a light particle. They put it through come super cooled thing and magnets and some other things. It was only slowed downa fraction of a fraction of a second or so but still it's progress.

100 Years ago Albert Einstein developed his theory of relativity that claime that the Universe is actually Based on a spae time Contonium.
Einstein believed that his theory disprove Newtons theory and tha Newton theroies had disproved all previous theories .Einstein accepted that his theory containe some basic illogicalities and that it failed to explain electrical and magnetic phenomenon. Well especially I think speed of light as claime by Sir einstein is absolutely correct . That is what my intitution says. And not the big name of Sir Einstein . But please note that always used to appreciate the phenomenon of intitution .

Should Einstein be considered as the greatest scientist ever? As we all know that his contribution is really has a big influence our life now.

I think this sounds too good to be true.
How on earth he could do the research? Scientists have studied the quantum theory for decades with the latest technology, and none came up with the sub-atomic particle yet. Even if the boy is a super-genius, there will be limitation in current technology for him to conduct the experiment.
