What's the most popoular sport of your country? Do you like it? In Itay is Football (called in other country "soccer"...), but the italian name is "Calcio".

the most popular sport in my country is cricket... its played on a circular field and has a strip of land where no grass is grown called a pitch.. palyed by 22 players .. 11 in each team.. each team bats n boels for 1 time.. the teams that scores more runs win..

the most popular sport in our country is basketball followed by billiards. almost all of the blocks here have basketball courts or billiards table.

In South Africa the most popular sports are Rugby and Cricket. I have never enjoyed spectator sports, and find the emphasis on them very annoying.
