Is yawning Contagious?

I did a report on this for psych class and came up with yes...what do you think?

I would say kind of. I've never researched it.. but I've heard that you yawn because your brain is being deprived of enough oxygen to function properly. If so.. that means there is a possibility that there isnt enough oxygen in the area close to you. Thats what I always thought... so it appears to be contagious.
