Is the LORD OF THE RINGS series one of the best written story of all time?

well,,this movie is one of my fav. and i loved it a lot....specially the art work the screenplay of the movie,the sets and location were just fabulous,, and the direction is superb . all the actors had given everything to this movie...its a grand creation.

Oh yes, one of the best books I've read. Pure fantasy but with echos of real life. The characters are brilliant. I quite liked the films too as they followed the book without too much 'hollywood' mixed in.
