There are so many singers in sub-continent that you can't say that only one out of those is best or favourite. Now see there were Madam Noor Jehan,Ustad Nusarat Fateh Ali Khan, Muhammad Rafi, then there are Lata, Asha, Adnan Sami, Nayyara Noor, Alka, Ali Zafar, Strings, Jal, Fusion, and so many I cannot even remember how many there are. Therefore picking up one favourite means that we are insulting the others.

dear everybody also have a best friend is dosnt mean that u insult the other friends and every body have some favourite I know and I also listen all of them u write and I know they all are great singers but I the question is who is more favourite for you

Dear friend, Although there is no issue in asking for the favorite singers and everybody has his/her own choice...... but to compare the lights of Nusrat fateh ali khan with atif aslam in terms of Quality of singing...... please dont mind but it is really an insult for NFAK. please dont do that. you may say atif is my favorite, but you can never say or even compare the quality of his singing with NFAK or other legends.

my favurite singer from the sub continent is atif islam.i like his song adath very much.kailash kher also good.kilash's "allah ke bandhe" song is cool one.but the song "ab toh adat see hai mujko" is really amazing.ofcourse atif islam rocks according to me

well mine favourite singer is Atif Aslam ..he is all time the best singer roking the sub continent nowadays...he just rox whereever he goes...besides atif i also like Jal the Band,Sonu Nigam,Strings....!

i just like doorie that hes currently my favourite but i like all the great legends like rd burman sonu nigam,k.k,hariharan and the latest sensation karunya(the runner up of indian idol2)
