There are few newspapers more respected than the Wall Street Journal. Did you see what they had to say about blogs? I wonder if you agree or disagree with the WSJ. Here is a link http://www.webpronews.com/insiderreports/searchinsider/wpn-49-20061222WSJTakesIssueWithBlogs.html Do you blog? What is your favorite blog? I look forward to hearing what you think.
Since MyLot doesn't seem to use hyperlinks, you will just have to copy and paste the link into your browser.

I think blogs are great.
The mainstream media has an issue with blogs because blogs often criticise the MSM and offer a different point of view. But this is a good thing. Often journalists get too close to their sources, they feel flattered to be taken into the confidence of presidents and prime ministers, and lose their critical faculties and end up as propaganda machines for said politicians. One only has to witness how uncritical the MSM were in the run up to Iraq.
If the fourth estate had done their bit and analysed the situation critically, perhaps Iraq wouldn't have been embarked on and thousands of lives saved.
Bloggers are outside this goldfish bowl and reflect ordinary life as most of us live it and hence offer a valuable corrective to the MSM.
