"Lage Raho Munnabhai"This movie talks agreat deal of adapting the gandhian principles like truth and non-violence to the present day world
It was also stated that these principles have not become meaningless 60 years after they were preached by the father of the nation
The movie was quite entertaining and it left a great impression on my mind and I completely agree with the message the movie wanted to convey!!!!

now how people connected all those to mahatma gandhi and congress
it all was publicity stunt.

Lage raho Munnabhai is one of the few films made in india which depict the true problems of the country!!
The film has tried to show the principles of Mahatma Gandhi in a More delightful way to the audience!
Its a pity that the Principles of such a great man has been almost frgtn!!
The only time when people remeber about this gr8 man is on 2nd october(Hopefully)!!

we do need many honest people to lead India in the present, with such a lot of politicians who just think of their own selfish ends!
we need some statesmen like Gandhiji so that we march forward from a pitiable state we are in, inspite of our rich natural resources, manpower, skill and intelligence.

The basic Gandhian principles are timeless and universal. No one should ever forget that and try to implement it. but as time changes the adaptability of everything changes. Today Gandhian principles can't be followed like what it used to be fifty years back. But they can be with a different approach and that is what we should do.

Buddy, I cant help but completely agree with you.
The principles and lessons of Mahatma Gandhi are timeless and applicable universally. However, one SHOULD NOT take this statement at face value and and say "I will sit outside my landlord's house because he has doubled my rent".
It is very important to understand the relevance of the Gandhian principles in modern times.
This becomes clear in the scene where the old man starts giving his clothes, shoes, medicines and other things as a bribe to the officer.
The other thing is that the principles are of the times of the freedom fight. So we should also not take up every small problem and think of solving it by Gandhigiri. For some problems, practicality can be a better, simpler and sometimes the only solution!!Moral of the story:
Gandhigiri is very revelant, practice-able and understandable as long as you dont depend on it for everything!!

It was a great entertainment movie that gets released once in a blue moon. May be its concept might have inspired many. But i doubt how much of these gandhian principles we can implement in todays world. If there were people in this world who can understand these principles then our world would not have been what it is now.

Lage raho munnabhai was just a research of the past which came to life. this film, rather than huge success, finds large no. of critics. but gandhian principles don't apply everywhere
