I'm on a very low income so I find giving cash to charities very difficult to do .. but if I ever find coins in the street then I always pick it up and drop it into the first charity collecting box I come across ..
I also give my old clothes to charities so they can be resold either as garments or shredded for recycling .. I do try and be charity minded but being on a very low income I find it hard to do as much as I would like to do ...

Under the Uk's weird and wonderful Benefits rules I am not allowed to volunteer for anything like that without the Benefit Agencies specific permission ... and I know from past experience they do expect you to volunteer for things that will lead to a job ... and I cannot do any regular work because of my disabilities ...
It's such a shame we can't volunteer because i could do an hour or so now and then ... many disabled folks could do that and it would help so many others ...
I know they have to have strict rules ... but sometimes they seem a little too strict

some say by giving you open the door of wealth. i know some of you may not agree with this idea, but many believe and happen to them.
i'm trying to save my income for charity, i know i still not donate as much as i should, i hope in the future i can donate more, afterall when you die you dont bring your money to the grave
