I have always been intrigued and wanted an clear explantion to this phenomenon. Do blind people actually dream. If so, how exactly is the experience? Can they see things? If so, what do they see?

this is the best question i have encountered till date this is really a question which need a deep thought U need to be in the shoes of a blind man to think about this although we may guess only He must be dreaming of his future and life ahead of him He must be dreaming of the happiness of his family involved

one need not to have a perfect vision to see things in their dreams. its the mind or brain that is seeing things with out the benifit of the eyes in our dreams. greetings. : )

Interesting question! Perhaps a blind person dreams in sensations and tastes and smells? Or if the person was sighted at some point, perhaps the dreams are visual.

i think so, its just that we didnt know what was their own interpretation of their dreams....they may not have the ability to see but they have very stong senses too, and maybe they can describe things according to their own perception ....
