Who Lies More?

The next day I was talking to a friend of mine, and she had a strange theory backed up with scientific facts and studies, about lying. It says that the average healthy human being LIES at least once every 8 minutes! Assuming you are in a gathering or talking to someone,not alone, you will lie once every eight minutes... These also include the little tiny lies, like overexaggerating by facial movements, a lie that consists of only one word, and other little stuff we aren't usually aware of. She got me curious and I asked her: who lies more, men or women? And she gave me her answer also backed up with scientific facts....she also told me who cheats on his/her partner more according to studies. What do you think about these studies and scientific facts, and who do you think lies more in your personal opinion?
