who has read Xanth?

I just love the Xanth series! In fact, I named our 2month old son Xanth Reign... It has been a great therapy for me when I was pregnant and sort of depressed. I just want to know what you think of the Xanth series...

I've read most of them as well as the adapt series and I liked them. I think the puns got a bit forced in the later books though.
Although I still have all of my xanth books and read them from time to time I now prefer the terry pratchett diskworld books as they are so funny.

I would always love them no matter how punish they may be... It's a magical world where puns abound. I have not yet come across Terry Pratchett's books but I'm always open for other books. But Xanth will always be close to my heart. I'm trying to find all the Xanth series so that my baby boy, Xanth Reign will be able to read them when he grows up. He's just 4months so I have a lot of time to find all those books for him.. :)

I love this series. Now i admit I haven't read any of the later books in the series mostly due to cost. The local library doesn't always get them in even though he lives just over an hour away. You'd think they'd want to promote local authors but they don't.
Yes the first book can be a bit slow, but it was his first book ever published. The rest of the series is great and to think he meant for it only to be one book and then he decided a trilogy and now how many are in it? 20 something or more. I still love it and often re-read the books when I get a chance.

Hi, I've uploaded the latter series from limewire just to get to read them because local bookstores here in the Philippines don't carry them if ever.
