Framnkly speaking I stayed away on and off on an average for seven years from my spouse due to his duties. Initially I felt lost and missed him a lot but then I started enjoying the freedom I had to do things at my own pace to go out and shop and eat out when I liked. I had my son for company and we really enjoyed our time. WE used to order from homedelivery often went to the movies with my friends and generally catched up with evceryone I had lost touch with after my marraige. I learned software programming in my free time. Infact i think I liked being alone a lot. I learned to drive too.

My brother was transferred to Iraq and he has a wife and 3 kids. Its been really hard on them both. But they hung in there and now he will be stationed back in the states where they can be together.
