Ok I dont know if there are any other people who live in quebec on here but I thought this is a good topic to be discussed. What really bugs me and ticks me off is that Quebec is excluded from pretty much every contest and website i try and sign up for. I'm so sick of seeing "Postal code invalid" or "Sorry, this offer is not available in your area". Come on if I have to live here instead of living back in Toronto I'd atleast like to be able to enter some contests, I have finally just got a invitation to Moola and come to find out that at the moment Quebecers are allowed to join and play but due to an unsettled law on contests, sweepstakes and tournaments Moola is unavailable to Quebec. To me that makes no sense at all. It's not available to Quebecers but we can still play. Are they trying to tell us if we actually do win lots of money they cannot pay us because we live in Quebec? Wow! For a while now I've heard about them trying to separate Quebec from Canada, Well in my opinion they do not really have to, we're excluded from everything Canadian already. Honestly I don't really know why I'm standing up for Quebec, I really dislike living here, well it does have its advantages, like the drinking age, graduating highschool in grade 11, and the cops are complete morons. It's pretty funny. I have been doing some research on Quebec being excluded and have found out that when someone from Quebec wants to enter a contest, it has to be approved by the Regie des acools, des courses et des jeux. This is a board set up by Quebec Provincial Government and they are very strict. Supposidly the approval takes weeks and fees. The applicant has to fill out tons of forms and pay money even if they lose the contest. Also the long approval and expensive progress is challenging when faced with time sensitive contests. I think that is just plain bull-. I cannot see why we should have to do that. Just say we decide to fill out these forms and everything, what if by the time we get approved and pay all the money they are asking for the contest ends? So there goes your chances of winning and the money you paid out just to have a chance to enter the contest. I dont see any other province doing these kinds of things to enter a contest. Why Quebec? I'd love to hear what you have to say.

I know what you mean!! I too, had received an invite for Moola, and i played a few rounds, and was getting a few bucks, then i was like wow, im gonna have money with this right? Wrong! Im in Quebec, so it looks like they'll keep my money?? And yesterday i got this call from a baby stuff website to which i had opened an account, and they told me they'd just verify my adress and all and send me my free baby products pack, filled with baby stuff, coupons and all kinds of freebies...when they asked for the state/province and i said Quebec, they said, oh sorry, it's not available in your area...like WTF?? It's all because of those stupid laws that Quebec comes up with!
