Yes, the most quoted number I think is 10%. But there are those like Kim Peek (Dustin Hoffman's character in the film Rain Man is based on him) who can read an entire book and months later, even years later, if you ask him a question about that book, he is able to quote you the passage and the page number that that particular passage was in.
