I try my best to visit my family every Christmas. I'm a quiet person but I Won't spend Christmas alone, I don't think I ill be merry alone.

I think it depends on how you celebrate it,and what do you prefer for christmas. But mostly of us spend it with our family and love ones. But spending christmas alone, I don't think i would be happy,But If ever you have to find some other way and get in to the other people.

Someone can spend it alone but not merrily. It's a season of giving, for Jesus Christ was born to die for us. That's the real essence of Christmas, giving, sacrificing, sharing with other people. 2 is beter than 1.

I don't know the answer to this Dianne.... But unfortunately I am about to find out! My family are in Australia and the UK, my Fiance is in Asia and I am in India alone (started a new job) where they don't really acknowledge Christmas. I will be spending it in a cheap hotel room alone because I haven't found an apartment yet..... So Christmas definitely doesn't HAVE to be spent with others but I would sure love to be with others right now! If you are alone this Christmas I hope you stay positive and get through it ok!
