huh!! i had a cat before her name is Mingming, when she was still with us she gave birth two times, the first time she gave birth to five kittens, but i had to throw them, put them in abandoned place, coz our neighbors don't like the kittens because of some reasons, i really cried that time, the second time she gave birth to four kittens, and again they just stay with us in just 3 weeks, and i have to throw them again, by this time with their mother, with Mingming, i cried again. they are so cute.

Abandonment of cats creates the probem of feral cat colonies. Intact animals should not be thrown out or let outdoors. Abandonment of pets is in my view and I'm sorry to say cruel.
I take care of 50 or so cats that I care for and many of them come from people who think that animals are nothing more then disposable objects.
If owners have to dispose of their pets then I say these owners should not have pets. Abandonment creates millions of feral cats who are then seen as a nuisance. Places shoot these cats and even in certain parts of the world sausage bait has been created as a form of mass euthanisia for these cats. There is only one probem in the grander scheme of this: We forget we are the ones who started this problem by not sterilizing pets and creating a disposable society.

Don't cry because they're cute. Don't cry because you miss them. Cry because that was a cruel thing done to their young lives, to be cast out and abondoned before they could protect and feed themselves. If you can't have them spayed or neutered, keep them inside. If you can't keep them inside, don't keep them at all. I cried when I read this post and all of the replies which followed.

What? Why don't you fix this cat? Then you wouldn't have these issues. Or if that isn't possible then keep it inside. There are enough homeless unloved cats in this world.

Three week old kittens can't survive on their own. This person pretty much killed them by abandoning them without their mother. I would be very surprised if the little ones eyes were open yet. Kittens and puppies are born with thier eyes shut they don't open thier eyes till the 2nd to 4th week. A young kitten needs to be fed by its mother or bottle fed till atleast 6 weeks of age sometimes till they are 8 weeks old. There is no way these tiny kittens at 3 weeks of age survived long enough to find loving homes. First of all without food they die, second of all the exposure to temperatures (the cold outside) will kill them as they are not able to regulate their body temperature yet at that young of age.

our cat name is 'pooja', and she used to give birth 3 kids yearly 3 times; we never let those babies in street, we used to give those to some of our family friends and neighbours and happy while we visit their homes to see the progress of our poojs's issues.
moreover its a sin to let kittens like what you did; pls do not repeat again!!

I don't understand your comments? Are you feeling sad because you abandoned your cat and her kittens. I find this a really sad story that you could do such a thing. What has the neighbours got to do with your cats? I know what I would have said to them!!!
You should have got your cat neutered and given the kittens to a pet shop or cattery, then you would not have had to go through this. Why did you get rid of the mother?

here in the my country there are a lot of abandoned animals that you will see on the street, and that is what we do here, i also have to get rid of the mother because she would get pregnant again and again. So much better if they would all gone on our side.

you shouldnt abandon them, either have the vet put them down or give/sell them to someone. If you dont want your cat to get pregnant anymore then do something about it. Also, its not the neighbours decision, you can keep them if you want.

I love cats too, the most inetresting thing about them is that they are so free spirited, they come and go, not like a dog that is totally depending on you. cats are very independent animals
