Can you tell me somthing about windows vista?

The Micosoft Coperation has recently launch its new system software called "Vista".Can someone tell me the the difference between it and Xp,and where it has improvesd compared with xp.

vista is nothing but microsofts policy of squeezing money from it's customers....
it requires a monster computer to run vista and i don't think there is much in vista compared to xp....
xp sp2 is much much much better

i agree Windows Vista requires a monster computer to run smoothly (1GB od RAM) but the security features are much enhanced and preety cool to work with.. specially the Aero Glass....!!
and one more information there i no windows visdta for a tablet Pc

Microsoft Vista is a code nome MS OS which is next version to windows xp. And you can't compare xp with Vista,
Vista is much faster,stable and very important which was microsoft always lacking...And that is security.
VISTA itself is a very secure OS doing everything itself even for a normal user who don't know deeper.
its my 3rd day on Vista and i must admit ..ITS BEST :)

windows vista is a new operating system by microsoft
even though windows vista is a new operating system you can still upgrade xp into vista once it comes out. but it will replace windows xp with vista not upgrade so its a whole new operating system.
