I love my work! As in I enjoy everything that I do. Now my dilemma is my mom asked me if I don't want apply for a more compensating job. I can feel that she wants me to have a high salary job, for me to save and also to help on our finances(even if she doesn't tell me that). I really do wanna help but on my current job that I really love, I am not able to coz my salary is just enough for my personal needs(sometimes not). Really need some advice and encouraging words. Thanks a lot!

for me better to get a job that offers you highest salary then work with it then try to love it. What you love doesnt mean the best but the best may bring loves to you.

thanks for the advice! I cannot have a high position here since I'm working in a non-profit organization, volunteer status. side job, not really a job but I've just started dog breeding though there's no real profit in there but more of a hobby. Thanks a lot!

Yes, it's really good if you love your job, more output and so much more. Seems like you are a good person, to volunteer and love pets. But sometimes, unknowingly, we just don't want to go out of our comfort zone. Since you cannot expect a promotion which can give you a higher salary, maybe you should give a try to apply for a job in a corporation. You don't know but you might just be needing an experience to be a better, better volunteer someday and might end up to what you really love. To top it all, PRAY hard and constantly.

If you have a current job and you love it just they stay there for a while. You don't need to be hurry to looked for a high compensating job. How can you be motivated in doing in your high paying job if you don't love it.

First of all, do not be pressured by your mom for she only wants the best for you. She may be worried for you since as you have said sometimes your current job is not enough for you. Since you love your job, stay. But since it's not enough for your living expenses, find another job. If you are not well compensated, it's not worth all your time and energy. On the other hand, you don't need to have a high salary job to make both ends meet. You just have to lower a little your standard of living. Who says you have to love you job (although the heart can be taught), the reason we work is for us to make a living, if time permits, then you can spend the remainder with what you love. May the Lord lead you in peace.

If you can pay your bills and expenses I would say stay with the job you love. I have been in a job I hated, and every day I woke up wishing that the day was already over. Trust me, it is really not pleasant at all. After a few month I got to the point where I said come what may I am just unable to stay here much longer and I quit. If it is difficult to make ends meet, try to tell your boss that it is really difficult for you to pay your bills from the salary u receive. Tell him/her how much would you need to have no problem pay your bills. In exchange u could offer to work more (if you really love your job you wouldn't consider it as extra burden). When I am in really difficult situations I always say to myself what the trully honest God promised me: I will never leave you nor forsake you. It really makes me feel easier to know that there is someone powerfull out there who I can trust with my problems and who would Always stand by me, even if noone else is there for me (as it has happened before.) Tell your mum that u love what you are doing and you are you are very passionate about it. What is the meaning of having no financial problem, but hating your life and wishing daily you have never been born?
