I believe to be close run off between Brom and Arya. Both are mysterious in thier own way. Brom started off being the town storyteller, Brom is very gifted in keeping is secrets hid. Arya is the silent and mysterious type. She also can keep her secrets, like for instance, she is indeed a elven princess. I believe both are well placed in the books Eragon and Eldest. Cant wait to read the third book.

well it is a close run thing... Murtagh and Brom have a close fight. Murtagh because he is a gr8 swordsman and a secretive person who doesn't betray his brother for power. Brom because he was a wonderful talent and fought gallantly (flashback) with Galbatorix's forces , finds Varden and also secures an egg ... Now the thig that Brom has been around for too long (more aged) I would say its Brom the man whom even Queen of Elves recognise .:)
