Paper or Plastic...

I prefer plastic myself... When I bring home the groceries there is a flight of stairs I have to walk up. I also shop for a family of 6. I can only carry a few paper bags at time, but I can carry 10 or more plastic bags. People say that paper is more "eco friendly", but my experience is, "eco friendly" people can't seem to make up their minds. In the 70s, McDonald's used paper and paperboard to wrap their hamburgers. Because of pressure from Eco Friendly people, they switched to foam packaging. Well, if you notice, McDonald's is back to paper... why? Because of hte same eco friendly know-nothings that pressured them to change in the first place. So, to me, until eco friendly gets it's act together, I'll go with plastic... since they can't make up their mind anyway.
