This is just an information to all dog lovers..
WHY you should not leave your DOG in the car? Coz, Dogs cannot perspire. To cool themselves off in hot weather or after exercise, they pant. In short, they evaporate water from their tongue. Since this method is less efficient than perspiring all over, DOGS can become overheated more easily. So its not a smart idea to leave your dog in the car when you go shopping on a warm day!..

if it is unavoidable to leave your dog in the car, try to park in a much cooler place and do not roll up all of the window. if you have a grilled backdoor window, you may wanna leave it open. don't worry about burglars, if your dog is quite a good guard, then they won't even think of getting near your car

Yes, especially in the day time in an open carpark. It's really dangerous to leave a dog in a vehicle.
But if there's really a need to do so, leave part of the windows open to allow ventilation.
