What is Italy famous for?

oh it's great that you like Italy. I am from Italy, I think the best place to visit for a stranger are : Roma, the capital, Colosseum and all you can see there. Pisa and Pisa's tower, that strange twisted tower Venezia and Murano, I love Venezia...because it's a city on the water =). Milano...Torino are beautiful cities too.. Every city in Italy has much story behind. Sicilia is great too...I went there only one time...maybe it's better to go there in the summer. If you go to Naples..you will eat the best pizza you ever eat! And the best espresso coffee you can find on earth!

Italy is known to be the center of the Roman Catholic church. It has the greatest arts in history taht are still preserve today. It has rich cultural background and has good tourist spots.

It's a very beautiful place. It's famous with it's beautiful cities, beautiful women and don't forget about paste :)

actually I don't know. I just know the football of Italy is good and there are many famous football star play in Italy. The country always famous with its political bad news, that make me laugh. I hope I can have a travel to Italy.

I would love to go to Italy some day too! But, I can't imagine trying to see Italy in a week. You may want to plan for a minimum of two weeks, and even that will limit what you can see there. There are so many things to see in Italy that it is difficult to even know where to begin. I recommend that you check out some of the tourist web sites so you can find out what part of Italy you would like to go. Most people go to Rome so you may want to stick to areas around Rome. If you love architecture and art then Italy is the place to go! They are famous for their ancient architecture and sculptures, their aquaducts, the FOOD!!! Italy is a great place....It depends where you go in italy to know what is big there... In some places it the shopping....Others are there scenery. There is so much beautiful things there....The people are nice and its very romantic.
