Best and worst of sports in 2006

Hey people,The year 2006 is almost at an end. Looking back on the past year in sports, i would like to know what you think are the best and worst moments. The things that struck you the most in a positive and negative way in 2006 sports history. To me the pinnacle of the year was Italy winning the FIFA world cup Germany. The saddest moments in my opinion were the retirement of Australian cricketing spinner Shane Warne and the shocking finale to the career of French football legend Zidane.
