two weeks ago there was a terrible car crash that killed 3 local sixteen year old boys and left the seventeen year old driver critical.there were no drink or drugs involved, these were good boys, young intelligent beautiful boys with promising futures and in a blink they were gone.i didnt know them but as a mother i feel grief for them and their families.i was walking past the cemetry the other day as one of the funerals was ending and wanted to cry when i saw all the teenagers in black.i feel gutted over it.what sort of a christmas will the families have?i cant get away from it,those boys are in my thoughts every single day.why do i feel so bad.if i had little faith before i have none now.why do such terrible things happen to such innocent people?

wow...its never a good thing to hear about things like that.
When I was in high scholl still I had three of my friend get killed in a car wreck when the cops were chasing some drunk guy after robbing a circle K at 2 in the morning. They were all about 19 yrs old at the time. We all took it pretty hard, but realized that they were now in a much better place than this planet. And without that happening, their whole family would never of had a reason to get in touch with each other. At their service, about four or five people decided to get right with God...so thats four lives that changed for the better because my friend went to heaven.
For sure...its hard to see people die, but if we could "zoom-out" a little, we would be able to see all the good things that come from leaving this earth.

We have had a few crashes like that too hear in Australia recently and I can never make sense of it all. The families have to deal with so much. It is supposed to be a time of sharing but they would not feel like sharing much their lives are turned upside down. All we can do is pray for all the families that have lost loved ones for the strength to go on .

I feel so sad also with what happened to those boys. Sometimes we dont know why such things happen to good people. I feel so sorry too to their families.

Have you ever thought that God might be trying to get your attention. Not that he caused the accident that killed these young men but that he is using it to get your attention. To show you just how short life is. That may be why you feel so bad. When life is so uncertain faith is what helps me cope.

My first question is, What was the cause of the accident? Was the driver showing off? Was the driver going to fast for the road conditions? Yes this is an all to common thing to happen, and a needless accident. And yes, Christmas will never be the same again for those families affected by this tragety. This is why there needs to be a change in the age at which children can drive with so many people in the car. But what we also need to look at is, what was going on in the car at the time of the accident, in order to help others from commiting the same mistake.

...unfortunately.... that's how the balance of life is counteracted. nothing can exist without a counterbalance. Some say the good die young... and the sad truth is... it's true.

you have mentioned that the boys where below 18 years, that is they are not eiegebal to drive . aleardy the government as fixed a age limit to get a driving lincence . i think that if are eiegbal to drive a car safely this may not been taken pleace.

Its a real sad incident of ma life, innocent good boys gone in a blink, but as far as the question that why these things happen to innocent peoples i think the answer is we humans dont even know what we have in our fortune,so many things that we believe harmful later proove good!
