Okay, we all know the reasons people don't like America right now but here's ten good reasons to love us!...........................Drum Roll Please.................................... (1) Microsoft Windows (2) Jazz (3) Rock & Roll (4) Blue Jeans (5) Hollywood Movies (6) Baseball (7) Basketball (8) Coca Cola (9) eBay (10)Hoagies (It's a Philly Thing) Seriously, you'd all miss these things if we hadn't thought them up....Has any country given more in the last 200 some years? Maybe, let's hear what other countries have given us...No simultaneous inventions please. We also lay claim to TV's, Telephones, Airplanes, Polio Vaccine etc....Also, no people living or dead. I refrained from putting George Clooney up there so you can hold back too.

This post is hillarious, and I totally agree with you! USA sucks too though, but I would die if I was anywhere else, I can tell you that. People shouldn't hate Americans, just the American Gov't. LoL. Hell, we as citizens don't even like the American Gov't. LoL. So everyone has my permission to blame everything on Bush! LMFAO!

I agree with you. Bush has made such a mess, and everyone judges all Americans by him.

I agree with Anayden, right now we hate the Gov't, the stupid things done during severals years sending a lot of guys, loosing the life to make a war with no sense(Vietnam,Iraq,Afghanistanand...); no respect for the climatic change; no respect for countries like Cuba, Mexico, Sud America at all; no respect for the concept of environmental sustainability; and and and.........i can write for 1 week!! But my friend i'm italian and if today i don't live in a country with nazism or fascism is thanks to USA, if we have children with no polio is thanks to USA (evend if probably due to the polio vaccine and thanks to Kaprosky we have the AIDS nowday, find some related articles about it), if we have internet,PC, incredible technologies is thanks to USA, if we have research very days agaist the most important disease is thank to USA, so nobody hate the americans but all hate the Gov't. Only one thing, next time when u will give your vote keep in mind this post and do the right thing....Bush starts war everyday....Al Gore tries to sensibilize people about the climatic change....there is a little difference or not??? We only hate the stupid person not the good one§§§

I used to travel a lot years ago. I felt welcomed everywhere I went including Germany, England, Jamaica, Panama, Columbia and other countries. I remember how the world was hand in hand with us after 9/11. But when Bush decided to invade Iraq, things changed. When Rumsfield called France and Germany the "old Europe", feelings towards America went down the drain. Bush came in like a bully and people don't like bullies. I remember President Clinton being welcomed all over the world even after the Monica Lewinsky episode. Hopefully after the 2008 Presidential elections, things will change for the better. I just hope the damage to our reputation can be overcome. Just my opinion. Don't send me any angry emails. lol Lloyd

he he he, well i have to say that I do not have anything against America or Americans but I do not agree with Bush and I think that he is the main reason for disliking your country - it is so easy to judge all by just one person. I think that all countries has their goods, and their bads and that is something that always will be like that. Just like no person is perfect, neither is any country =)

Yes, President Bush has definitely messed with our image but his days are numbered and we'll see what happens after nov 11, 2008. Thanks for posting.

hi irish! Was been a 3 month late to respond to this but I can say I love americans and america itself! They are the one who bring literacy here in my country and teach us basics of abc during the early years and they are the one who bring hamburger, fries, softdrinks, and even cars in my innocent country which we enjoyed now. I thanks america for giving us aid in our charity and in our government and I can say I will try to visit america given the chance to do so...

I am from Canada and I personally have no reason to dislike Americans. But I was in Mexico a few years ago and I could not believe the difference it made to them when they new that we were Canadian and not American they were so much nicer to us. I don't get it. There are great people from all over the world.

Yes. There's an American politician named Christy Whitman who was in the Bush cabinet (until he made her life a hell. When she was in Italy for a conference she was walking along with her team of bodyguards when she ran into her Canadian counterpart who was also in Italy for the conference. She went up to him and said hello and asked where HIS bodyguards were. He replied "But Christy, nobody hates the Canadians?". I don't think the rest of the world likes us much right now. That's why it's nice to hear from a Canadian who does. There's been a lot of American bashing from canada on here. Thanks for the response.
