Advantage Flea medicine for dogs

Has anyone had any negative side effects from this? My dogs breath smelled like chemicals after an application of Advantage!

well i don't have any dogs, but i have used advantage on my cats, and there hasn't been any negative side effects, such as breath smelling like chemicals or anything. i think advantage is one of the better flea control products.
