My son is going to a special preschool due to his developmental delays/Autism. And because I have attended some of the workshops they've offered in the last few months, I've been given the opportunity to attend (free of charge) either the "It Takes Two to Talk- The Hanen Program for Parents"- designed for parents of children with language delays. OR the "More Than Words- The Hanen Program for parents of Children of ASD and other Social Communication Disorders". I have heard from the speech therapists who ran the workshops I attended that "Hanen" is a great program, and I've heard the same from the behavioral support person from my son's school.
Here is a link to the program: http://hanen.org/
Does anybody here have any experience with the Hanen programs? I hear there is some videotaping involved, and I'm not too crazy about that part. LOL
