I have two types of reply to this , one serious and the other true but joking .
First , since US Dollar is easyly exchangeable worldwide it is the best .
But secondly since I have to live within the Indian market ( I have no chance to go abroad in my life ) lifelong for me INR is the best currency .

There will always be differences of opinion about this one but it has to be the one that you can spend or change anywhere, irrespective of where you are. I think that would have to be the $US, as that seems to be acceptable everywhere and in fact many countries quote $US when they are selling to tourists. This pricing seems to apply irrespective of which country you are in if you are a tourist and buying something to take home.
Also many countries quote their own money against the $US, which must mean that they think it is the safest currency to trade in.

The most standard currency currently that is easliy exchangeable anywhere in the world is the dollar. Another one that is slowly catching up is the Euro. A currency that cand be changed anywhere is the best, on that basis, it'd have to be the dollar or the Euro.
