man kills kids and himself

I can't get over the stories in the paper lately. Apparently this man just recently got divorced from his wife, they have two children and she was to get the house, but is now living with her mom. He asked to see the kids last night so he could give them his christmas gifts before the mom and kids went out of town.
Well he then decided to place the house on fire and no one survived.
why do something like that, he would have been able to see his kids still and to take their lives like that is just reprehensible.

I am a 43 year old married man with children.
Guess what...this story doesn't bother me at all.
It happens everyday. Sure it's terrible. Sure it's wrong. But if I sit and dwell on negativity and the misfortunes of others, I can't successfully function.

It is not very nice to discuss this type of topic as it will only cause further grief and there is enough of terrible things happening in this world. It would be nice to hear more of the good things that happen in life especially at this time of year. So lets us hope a new year will bring peace and goodwill to us all.
