Does anyone know how to make the real money on ebay?

I have been selling on ebay for quite some time now, and haven't really made a profit. I concentrate on clothing, but that's really hit or miss. And I don't feel like standing in line for hours hoping to get the latest tech toys. The hunt for clothing is really hard, and not stable. Any clues or advice on how to profit off ebay?

Wait for Spring and Summer then every saturday and sunday go to rich community places, these time of the year you can see so many garage/yard sale and mind you the rich people just throw stuff away even if those stuff are still usable, some even just sell for a dollar or some just even give it away. Once you get these stuff on garage or yard sale then post it on ebay im sure you can get more profit than buying on malls.

That sounds like an awesome idea, but do the rich have garage sales? I've been hunting in garage sales, and it seemed as if only the middle income families are having the garage sales!

If it were that easy then I think I would be well off. I guess nothing in life is easy ! =(
That's the hardest part, finding things anywhere for cheap!

I really do not have any idea about it, if you get it let me know, because I am also thinking about it for long time.

I have been selling on ebay also and not doing anything but braking even. I went into their chat forums and everyone there says that January and Febuary are their best months for sales. So right now I am just selling a few items at a time and stocking up for those couple of months. I try to sell a mixture of items and not just stick to one thing.

Instead of waiting until the nice weather for garage sales, just find thrift stores and salvation armies near rich communities!

Garage sales are a great place to find things. The rich communities do have garage sales, but sometimes these communities have a community rummage/garage sales. Also, kids clothes do well, especially good condition boys clothes!
