I have a question for any ladies who have been pregnant with both a boy and a girl. Did you notice a big difference in morning sickness between the two? Which made you sicker?
I am 9 1/2 weeks pregnant with our 2nd child. When I was pregnant with our daughter, I really didn't have any problem with morning sickness. This time around, I am sicker than a dog!! Just wondering if that could be the sign of a boy.
Also, any suggestions for dealing with morning sickness would be greatly appreciated. I have peppermints and preggie pop drops. Eating makes me sick, not eating makes me sick. I can't take my vitamins, just the sight of them makes me gag.

I have always heard that it's the other way around. With girls, morning sickness is worse because of the increased female hormones in your body. However, I think it's a myth because everyone is different and every pregnancy is different.

I've heard that the extra female hormones means it will take the mother longer to recover after the birth...but never heard it would make worse morning sickness. Interesting.

Actually, I found that I had less trouble with general pregnancy symptoms with my three boys than with my daughter. I gained the most weight with her and felt tired all the time-she was a big baby though-8 lbs 7oz so that could explain some of the tiredness and bigness

I have a one year old girl, and I had horrible morning sickness with her often. It was morning noon and night. Now, I'm pregnant again, and I have got it bad again. The doctor gave me some meds for nausea, but I just got them so I'm not sure if they work yet. I'm feeling pretty nasty now though, so I'm going to try it. I also got those preggie pops, but it they haven't helped yet. I just got them today, and took one. How many are you supposed to take to feel better? Do they really work? Stacey you're not that much further along than me, because I'm 9 weeks now. Well I hope everything works out for all of y'all. Excuse me, I have to go hurl lol.
