To place a label on Circle Takes the Square would be difficult. Its really different from any other type of music. They are currently a four piece band but have been a three piece at one time. Their instrumental is something so epic and technical. They have totally changed the rules of song composure and structure. And they've done a outstanding job. It can be hard to listen to at first if you're not used to the vocals. But after listening to it for a while, you find the vocals necessary.
