What are your holiday traditions?

I've moved in with my boyfriend and I am seeing so many traditions thta I have never been exposed to before. My mother always gave me an ornament to put on the tree every christmas and we also got a new pair of pajamas on our bed christmas eve. My boyfriend and his family do one gift on christmas eve. They also smoke a christmas blunt. Tell me some of your traditions.

every season new festival,
i think i need to post here at each festival.
nearest is SANKRANTI is the festival to welcome the change in weather,
tradition : flying kites.
