For the ladies - What's your favorite perfume and why?

I've bought many MANY (sigh) designer-labeled perfumes over the years but my all-time favorite is this discontinued cheap-little perfume ($4) by Bonnie Bell called Playful - it came in a set of 6 different scents like flirty, shy and a few others, but Playful was awesome! It was my signature scent for years - just very clean, light and pretty. Now I can't find it anywhere! My other faves are Samsara by Guerlain during Wintertime, and Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. I also like Tommy Girl during the Summer months. For me, I don't care if it is cheap or expensive. What matters is the smell and I totally miss Playful. :_(

I remember those Bonnie Bell scents. My favorite was Hopeful. I miss that scent so much! It was a slight twist of jasemine and roses with sandalwood I believe. Ah the memories LOL. Today I wear Dune by Christian Dior in the winter (if I can afford it), Lou Lou when I'm on a date and my everyday scent is called sleepy time by this boitanical garden thingy. It has a relaxing scent of lavender and orange blossom. I sure miss Hopeful though :)

This question made me go on a brief yet rampant search for anyone who still sells that stuff. I found one retailer and all she has left is Sassy. :(

I love anything with a warm sweet scent. I have posted to a question like this, but I will name some more. I like gucci rush, ck euphoria, i also love mac's perfume v3.

I like Gucci Rush too! I'll have to test the M.A.C. one you mentioned. I just returned to the states and M.A.C. wasn't sold over in Japan, so while I love that brand I feel like I've been in a sort of a time warp! I have to catch up lol.

i love cool water for men and Fahrenheit. even though they are guy perfume, they are really good... and i also love tommy girl.

I bought Obsession for men for myself. I've loved that every since I was little. I don't use it a lot, just when I'm in the right mood. I also Looove the original Curve for men. I haven't worn that yet - I make my husband wear it, but I would. lol.
