Modern aromatheraphy introduced in France relies on scented oils, to help you feel better, physically and emotionally. Certain oils are designated for certain problems: lavender for relaxation and restful sleep, vanill to reduce anxiety, chamomile to soothe, rosemary and the citrusy tang of lemon and orange for alertness.

I think for relaxation yes cause if aromatheraphy massage it's calming and relaxing makes you sleep. But I think that the scents for alertness I don't think so.
