Although Linux is supposed to be more stable and usable than windows the simple fact that Windows is a lot more universal and more supported by usual software etc, means that I'll continue to use windows

I think windows is better than linux with the latest launch of Vista. It contains both the security of linux and the user friendly features of windows.

I think linux is better since it has a very good security...and net works faster in linux than windows..

Windows is microsoft proprietary and you need to have license to use. Windows, especially Windows Vista or XP are very user friendly but u got a price to pay for it. On the other hand Linux is from RedHat and is totally free.
