This is a story of my relative. One boy is aged 6 and the other 4. Father and mother were doctors. Parents had gone out for walking in the evening. Only the kids were at home watching T.V. Elder asked younger, I will operate you like daddy and see what is in your stomach. Younger agreed. Elder made younger to sleep and brought a knife. He cut the stomach of younger. When he started shouting, seeing the blood oozing out, elder ran out and hid himself under the car in the portico, fearing his parents. When parents came home, they saw second child injured and blood having oozed out heavily. They could not find the elder child. They put the young child inside the car, locked doors and started the car. Elder brother was under the tyres and got killed. This research field of little kids, made them to loose their lives and parents grief was unimaginable.

I couldnt imagine leaving my 6 year old and 4 year old at home alone. No matter how short of a time. Children of that age do not have the mentality to make decisions-obviously. This is sad. I think the parents should be charged with neglect. Had they have been there, it wouldnt have occurred.

Well, Doctors are Doctors. This would of never happened if the parents never have left the kids in the first place.

This is all happened due to the over watching of tvs, films, etc. we also heard of some chilrens are become "krishh" and jumped from 3rd floorand lost his limbs. This happend all of over imaging the film like reality film krishh. there also such cases during "shakthiman" serial. parents have to watch their kids and every time they should say that the tv soups, films are unreal. This is only solve problems.

I know in America some teenagers got killed after mimicing a movie....they actors in the movie laid down in the road on the lines as a dare so these teenagers did the same. But it was a mountain road and the cars didn't always stay right in the lane and they were killed. It was horrible. That was defiantely a case of children acting out what they saw on TV although I'm not sure we could say the story above is the same.

For one thing the parents were not responsible because they left to little young children alone where they could reach these things that should have been up out of sight and not with in their reach. My sister keeps a lock on her drawers so the kids cannot get to a knife. This is a very sad thing to have happened. It is gut wrenching to have something that horriable to happen to them. My little sister whos 5 plays doctor with her dolls but thank god she doesn't know to do stuff like that is it safe to let our children even watch E.R. and other shows that are like them kids learn things when we least expect them to. Well I hope that from now on kids are taught that playing with knives and other such sharp intruments is a big no-no. And that parents start keeping them up so they cannot get to them and also do not leave young children alone even for a walk around the house.

These days TV has become mass eduction system. But the irony of this communication is that no one interested to think what is not required to communicate and to whom it should be made avilable. The parents have more responsibility these days to bring up their child. In earlier days there were elders at home and in the present system of husband, wife and a child or single mother family there is no one to share the responsibility of bringing up the child. Moreover in earlier days, the society was such pragmatic that the child was guided by the behaviours of the elderly respected people in the neighbourhood and family circle. But these days it is very scarce to find such people in the society and the people do not care for such elderly persons, whereever they can rarely be found. Under the circumstances parents should be there always when the children to view the TV and guide them whereever the programmes of the channel would make a bad impact on the notmatured mind and brain.

Sorry, but this story doesn't sound very true to me. First of all you really shouldn't leave such young children at home even for short periods of time. Second of all, I think a 6 year old can tell right from wrong at least a little bit- and they know that cutting someone open will hurt. Also, the 6 year old would have to push down pretty hard with a SHARP knife to make a gash. Also, what kind of parents just leave their older son because they can't find him? Seriously? They should have called 911 or other emergency service to come and take their bleeding son to the hopspital while continuing to look for their older son. I think this story is made up, honestly.

I don't know if this is a true story or not. If it is, that is awful. Parents should not leavr a six year old in charge of a four year old. Here in the US if you leave a small child at that age alone or with a younger siblin, the parents can get some jail time. This would of never happend if the parents would of never left a child alone. It doesn't matter that they are Doctors. I mean Doctors are good. We just can't leave a small child alone because children do try things.

Sounds like another urban legend to me. Similar to the "babysitter put the turkey to bed and cooked the baby" caliber.
