Actually i'm not from animation background. So i don't have the perfect idea abt it. I think they have used MAYA or MAX..

wow, you talking about super computer working behind Lord of the rings movie. I hear this rummor from some people lord of the ring rented super computer to assembling animation they make. Im not sure which program they use but it must be animation rendering.

I don't know well about video editing. I just one software for video editing. It's adobe premier. I have the software but I can't use it. I have tried to use it by myself but I think that's not my ability to do video editing.

ultimate software was used and special effect was given at weta digital studio. they also used maya,3dmax,avidpro and some in-house softwares. they also used 600-800 cpu to render the movie.

I don't well about video editing. I just one software for video editing. It's adobe premier. I have the software but I can't use it. I confuse how to use it. I have tried to use it by myself but I think that's not my ability to do video editing.
