Antiques especially temples and sculptures make a good subject for painting

Pen and Ink and water colours combo roll out excellent paintings.

I agree; however I prefer oil on canvas. Sometimes I cheat and use those paint by numbers, they are eaiser, not easy, and they turn out beautiful. I can draw, so sometimes it helps me to draw on the canvas and then paint from there. I don't know if that would be considered cheating though.

Well.Thats your invention.Its not at all cheating.Are there any norms in painting? i dont think so.I know so many artists who bend the conventional(so called)methods to suit to their work.I for one being in the commercial line,where speed is the criteria,a quick drying media will sell.At times I use water colours and water soluble pencils.Both quick and good yield.Thank you for participating in the discussion.Have you seen my paintings?
