I would have to say quality, a lot of empty years just don't
seem to stack up against fewer years that are rich with experiences, love and companionship.

It is obedience to God that really matters to God. Even if you have all the best in life if you do not obey God, that's nothing to God, you will be thrown to hell on the last day. Even if you just lived for a while if you have obeyed God, He will take you to heaven to live with Him forever when judgment day comes.

I would agree with the Bible on this. Quality is always best and in turn you receive the quantity needed. We as humans would always LOVE to be a 100. I only want to live that long if I am able to enjoy as much life then as now. When I see elderly people who are suffereing mentally, physically and financially I always question why would I ever want to be that old and not be able to enjoy the Golden Years.

Living for long is not always a good thing especially when someone's health is not good or if their living conditions are bad, etc.. accomplishments in life is also not everything because some people accomplish a lot but they are never happy or satisfied.. so it's quality in term of health, happiness, living conditions, love/friendship and not being in need for any basic thing in life..

Of course it should be the quality. Who among us can say they would rather live a long, unfulfilled life rather than a fuller but possibly shorter one! I believe you should take each day as a blessing and try very hard not to let things bring you down. I know that is tough to do at times, but as they say life is short.

I would say quality of life is much more important. Some people accomplish amazing things in a short time on this earth, while others live long and miserable, unproductive lives. The young boy and author Mattie Stepanek comes to mind. He was painfully sick with muscular dystrophy his whole life, which ended a few years ago at age 13, but he managed to inspire so many people with his writiings and philosophies. I cried my eyes out when he passed away, he was such a beautiful human being. His life, however short, was definitely worth living. And remembering.
