Why is love possessive?

Its not so much that love is possessive. its more of how we have a tendency to protect what we care for, itd be like if a neighbor came to your house and said your dog was his and tried taking it. youd get upset because hes trying to take something thats yours. intern, we feel a need to try to manipulate our partners so we can feel as little possiblity of losing them. i have a friend whose husband is so possessive she cant even use her phone, computer, or be outside of the house after she gets off work, or he completely freaks out accusing her of cheating.

love is +ve
